Port Blair, April 26: 2077 doses of COVISHIELD vaccines were administered to the eligible beneficiaries by the health teams today (April, 26), taking the total number of doses of vaccines administered so far to 1,02,765. The health teams designated in various vaccination centres spread across the Islands are vaccinating all the beneficiaries above 45+ of age. The vaccination sessions are continuing in more than 88 designated vaccination centres set up in different parts of the Islands towards the fight against Corona virus in A& Islands.

The district wise figure of administering of COVISHIELD doses to the eligible beneficiaries on April 26 by the Health Department states that in South Andaman 1622 persons above 45+ were administered the vaccine, in North & Middle Andaman District 329 persons and in Nicobar District 126 were vaccinated.
