Port Blair, May 28: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has brought to the notice of Chief General Manager, BSNL that the villages of Tushnabad and adjoining area have no Telephone Connectivity at present. Since last five days Telephones are not working in the area. The MP requested the Chief General Manager to restore the phone connection at the earliest for the convenience of the general public and the students.

Sharma has also brought to the notice of Superintending Engineer, Electricity Department that the Village of Port Mount did not have electric supply since last five days due to Cyclone. Though it was restored two days ago, there is a low voltage supply. The MP requested the Superintending Engineer to rectify the defect of low voltage for the convenience of the general public especially students for their On-line studies.
