Port Blair, June 4: The Member of Parliament, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested the Chief Secretary to release pension for old age, widow, handicapped and destitute persons. Many of these persons are not getting there pensions because they have not linked there Adhaar card with bank. Because of Covid lockdown and no mode of transportation, these persons are unable to go to the bank for their Adhaar linkage.

The MP requested the Chief Secretary to direct the concern department to release the pension of all the left out old age, widow, handicap and destitute persons.
