Port Blair, June 8: The Inner Wheel Club of Port Blair in collaboration with the NGO Pankh handed over oxygen regulators with flow metres, sanitary napkins and milk packets to the District Administration (SA) and the Directorate of Health Services.

During this pandemic the administration has been strengthening the medical facilities of the islands relentlessly to fight the 2nd wave of Covid19 and prepare for the 3rd wave as well. In order to support the administration in its endeavour the Inner Wheel Club along with Pankh has come forward.

Pankh had earlier distributed ration kits to the daily wagers staying the outskirts at Wandoor who depended on tourists for their income.

The oxygen regulators and other essentials were received by Shri Suneel Anchipaka IAS DC (SA), Shri Hari Kallikat IAS SDM (SA), Yashaswini B IAS P AC (SA) on behalf of the administration and the representative of the Health Services in the presence of President Inner wheel Club/ NGO Pankh, Komal Anand.
