Port Blair, Oct. 25: Miss V. K. Mariyam Bibi, Ex Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad recently met the CEO Zilla Parishad (South Andaman) in his office and apprised him about the non-functioning of children's park at Wimberlygunj.

She informed that after lockdown due to COVID, the maintenance of the park was not done properly. As a result the condition of the park is very bad. She urged him to kindly accord sanction of estimate for its annual maintenance and repair so that the park once again be brought into use for the general public.

The CEO has assured Mariyam to do the needful at the earliest
