Port Blair, Nov. 10: The Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Mr. Kuldeep Rai Sharma on 09.11.2021 distributed 412 Grocery Kits to senior citizens of Rangat area. The Grocery kits have been provided by Akshaya Patra Foundation an NGO and were distributed through the Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
During the function the Member of Parliament honoured senior citizens of Rangat region by offering them shawls and showing flower petals on them.
Addressing the gathering, the Member of Parliament expressed his sincere gratitude towards the senior citizens who have laid the foundation of today’s Andaman & Nicobar Islands several decades back, braving all difficulties.
He said that today we can see a developing Andaman & Nicobar Islands but for this the credit must go to the senior citizens who have not only built a beautiful community but also have ensured communal harmony and peace in these Islands.
