NGOA Welcome PM Modi’s Decision to Withdraw the Three Farm Acts

Port Blair, Nov. 21: The Non-Gazetted Govt. officers’ Association, A & N Islands has whole heartedly  welcomed  the decision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to withdraw the three farm acts enacted by the  by the Government last year.

The historic yearlong Kisan struggle led by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) has compelled the Government to announce the withdrawal of these farm acts. All the Central trade unions and organizations of central government employees including Confederation Of Central Govt. Employees & Workers supported the agitation of farmers, from the beginning, as the issues raised by the farmers were of national interest.

The Non Gazetted Govt. officers’ Association hopes the Government also will review its stand on anti- employees and anti- people amendments in Electricity Act.

In a message to Comrade Hannan Mollah, General Secretary, All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) the Association congratulated the farmers’ organizations for their historic success achieved through united struggle and sacrifices.
