Port Blair, Dec. 19: The District Administration in continuation with its drive against encroachments on Govt. revenue lands in South Andaman District, the officials of Port Blair Tehsil carried out a mass eviction drive along the seaside area of Dairyfarm and removed RCC and temporary structures constructed upon govt. land.

Shri Suneel Anchipaka, Deputy Commissioner (SA) cautioned the general public to refrain from indulging in such illegal activities and reiterated that drive against such illegal encroachments shall be continued by the revenue department to protect the Govt. land from encroachments and strict action as per law shall be initiated against defaulters.
