Port Blair, Dec. 22: The District Child Protection Unit (SA) under District Administration in collaboration with Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi celebrated Christmas at Capstone Children Home (Child Care Institution) on 22nd December 2021.

Shri Hari Kalikkat, Additional District Magistrate graced the occasion as the guest of Honour. Children of Capstone Home presented a colourful cultural program. The program culminated with presenting Christmas gift and sweets to children sponsored by Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi

Similar program was conducted at Abhudaya Complex, Ferrargunj by District Child Protection Unit, South Andaman with the specially abled children wherein children decorated Christmas tree and actively participated in the games. The programme ended with distribution of sweets and refreshments to the children.

The District Administration ensures to conduct special events time to time so as to bring smile on the faces of children.
