Port Blair, Dec. 22: The Muay-Thai Association of India had recently conducted the Senior Muay-Thai Championship from 16th to 19th Dec. 2021 at Khuman Lampak Sports Complex. As many as 22 states including Andaman & Nicobar Islands had participated in the championship with 220 athletes and 20 officials.
In the championship, two sportspersons from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Shri Rengarajan S and Shri Aniruddh Khedla had represented the islands in the 63.5 Kgs Elite men and 57 category senior men respectively. Rengarajan has secured Silver while Aniruddh successfully clinched the bronze for A&N Islands.
The two sportspersons have trained at the Champions Zone Muay-Thai and MMA Club at Dairy Farm under Shri N Jagadeka Varma, State President and Head Coach, A&N Islands.
