Port Blair, Jan 24: The District Congress Committee President Mr. V.K Abdul Aziz has written a letter to the Assistant Engineer, STS Unit, Ferrargunj and urged him to ply a bus from Bambooflat Jetty to Rajeev Nagar via Tsunami Shelter daily at 7:00 pm.

He noted that around 300 people travel daily on this route. Due to unavailability of bus service in the evening hours, residents of the area are finding it difficult to reach their homes on time. They are forced to walk all the way back to their home by spending huge amount daily to travel by auto or other mediums.

Aziz requesting the Assistant Engineer to act on the plea and provide a bus on urgent basis.
