Port Blair, Jan 25: Three of the officers of A&N Police have been conferred prestigious ‘President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service’ and ‘Police Medal for Meritorious Service’ for their illustrious and unblemished service on the occasion of 73rd Republic Day, 2022. The awards were announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs on the eve of the Republic Day.
‘President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service’
Sh. Anil Shukla, IPS, ADGP (HQ): Sh. Anil Shukla is an IPS Officer of 1996 Batch. Presently, he is holding the post of Addl. Director General of Police (HQ). Since assuming charge of ADGP (HQ), he has shown exemplary professionalism in improving the working conditions of A&N Police. He has diligently served in NIA, Delhi Police, Arunachal Pradesh and Pudducherry. In recognition of his hard work, dedication and noteworthy efforts towards duties, he has been conferred the ‘President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
‘Police Medal for Meritorious Service’:
Sh. Shashi Prakash Dubey, SI (Supervisory Tech.): Sh. Shashi Prakash Dubey joined A&N Police Radio Organization in1992. He has been part of many projects of A&N Police. He worked tirelessly to execute the project of CCTNS successfully in A&N Police. In recognition of his hard work and dedication towards duties, he has been conferred the ‘Police Medal for Meritorious Service’.
Sh. N. Mageswaran, ASI (Driver): Sh. Mageswaran, joined A&N Police in year 2000. In recognition of his hard work and dedication towards duties, he has been conferred the ‘Police Medal for Meritorious Service.’
Sh. Satyendra Garg, IPS, DGP, A&N Islands complimented all the awardees for the distinctions conferred on them and bringing honour to A&N Police. He wished them success in their future career.
