Port Blair, Jan 28: The Directorate of Shipping Services has received representation from the general public and public representative of Bambooflat and its adjoining areas regarding rescheduling timing of Vehicle ferry services.
To facilitate the commuters, this Directorate has revised the timing of vehicle ferry services. As per the new schedule the vehicle ferry vessels will be providing continuous non stop service between Chatham & Bambooflat between from 0700 Hrs to 1000 Hrs and 1430 Hrs to 1830 Hrs. However, the vehicle ferry service other than above timing will remain same as per existing schedule.
The above service will come in to force with effect from 29th January, 2022.
