Raising Day of Indian Coast Guard
On the occasion of 46th Raising Day of Indian Coast Guard, it gives me immense pleasure to extend greeting and felicitations to all personnel and families of Coast Guard fraternity.
Over the years, the Indian Coast Guard has evolved into a strong maritime force and emerged as an all-weather friend for local populace of these pristine Islands. Total 109 lives saved by Indian Coast Guard along with rapid response to various distress alerts at sea has made the isles more safe and secure for various economic activities and thereby establishing a unique bond with the citizens of A&N Islands.
The Indian Coast Guard is a true force multiplier for safety & security of A&N Islands furthering our anti-poaching and remote island surveillance efforts in co-ordination with all Stake Holders thereby creating rigid security net around the Islands.
The noble gesture of community interaction programme by the Indian Coast Guard has made qualitative changes in the perception of fishermen towards safety of life at sea.
I once again extend my greetings and felicitations to all Officers and personnel of Indian Coast Guard and wish them success for all future endeavours.
