Port Blair, Feb 11: Shri. Anil Shukla, IPS, ADGP/HQ was on 02 days visit to North & Middle Andaman District. During the visit this time, he visited the Look Out Posts at Louis-inlet-Bay and Interview Island. The ADGP interacted with the staff and understood the challenges being faced by the staffs who are posted in these remote locations on rotational basis. In his interaction he appreciated the staffs for their contribution in keeping the Islands safe from threat of poachers and listened to their challenges. Directions were given to the local officers to take appropriate actions to address the concerns of the staff.

A meeting with all the Dy. SP and SHOs of the district was also held by ADGP/HQ in the SP office to review the overall functioning of district police and also to review the preparedness for the upcoming Panchayat elections.
