Port Blair, April 5: In an effort to make PBMC the No. 01 Rank Municipal body the Chairperson along with Secretary PBMC, and Officials made a visit in Ward No. 19 & 24 on 02/04/2022.

During their visit as demanded by existing shopkeepers and opinion of public representatives, the Secretary, PBMC assured to construct a Modern Fish Vending Centre at Bhatu Basti market. He also directed the officials to explore the possibility to materialise the scope with the assistance of Fisheries Department, since after delimitation the demand of new administrative set up have been arisen.

The Secretary also directed the officials to make necessary arrangements such as office set up and PBMC’s Citizens Center. The Civic chief and Secretary, PBMC appealed the general public to participate in the Swachhta Survekshan 2022.
