Port Blair, April 24: The Directorate of Shipping Services has prepared the sailing programme of MV Bharat Seema for Little Andaman. The Sailing Schedule is as under.

  1. MV Bharat Seema 26.04.2022  at 0900 Hrs    25.04.2022           Return voyage from Little Andaman to Port Blair on 26.04.2022 at 2000 Hrs
  2. MV Bharat Seema 29.04.2022 at 0900 Hrs     27.04.2022           Return voyage from Little Andaman to Port Blair on 29.04.2022 at 2000 Hrs

It is to inform to the passengers that in compliance to the Circular issued by the Deputy Director (Health/Nodal Officer (COVID-19) vide                                                      No. 2-165/DD(H)/Omicron/Covid-19/2021-22/366 dated 18th April, 2022 the ticketing for Little Andaman will be done on fulfilment of following conditions.

  1. Passengers who are fully vaccinated (i.e. taken 02 doses) with COVID-19 vaccine are being exempted from RTPCR Test.
  2. Passengers who are unvaccinated/ partially vacinated/ Symptomatic passengers above 05 years of age will have to undergo Rapid Antigen Test before undertaking journey.
  3. No test is required for asymptomatic children below 05 years of age who are undertaking journey with in A&N Islands.

Those passengers who have vaccinated with both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine and are in possession of the final vaccinated certificate may purchase their tickets from STARS Ticketing Counters and get verified/endorsed their tickets from Covid Testing/verification Center, Phoenix Bay/Nagar Palika Vidyalaya (near Netaji Stadium).

Similarly, Passengers who are unvaccinated/ partially vaccinated/ Symptomatic passengers above 05 years of age may also purchase their Tickets from Stars Ticketing Counters but to get their Rapid Antigen Test done before boarding the vessel.

Further to inform that, entry to port and boarding will be allowed only to those passengers having endorsemesnt on the body of the tickets by the approving/endorsing authority at Covid Testing Center, Phoenix Bay/Nagar Palika Vidyalaya (near Netaji Stadium). Passengers should report at Harbour 02 hours prior to departure, as the port gate will be closed half an hour before scheduled departure.
