Port Blair, Aug 16: As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), Society for Promotion of Serve Humanity Among Youth (SPARSHA), a newly registered NGO conducted Har Ghar Tiranga campaign covering villages under Gram Panchayat Shore Point, Bambooflat-1, Bambooflat-2 and Hope Town.

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. This Mahotsav is dedicated to the people of India who have not only been instrumental in bringing India thus far in its evolutionary journey but also hold within them the power and potential to enable Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of activating India 2.0, fuelled by the spirit of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

As part of the year-long celebration, Har Ghar Tiranga campaign started from Shore Point village on 13th August, 2022. The event was graced by Shri K Balakrishna Pradhan GP Shore Point, Shri Vishal Jolly, Shri Debkumar Bhadra President SPARSHA. The program was also attended by villagers and other office bearers of SPARSHA.

The campaign at Bambooflat was led by Shri Somesh, Ex Pradhan GP Bambooflat. Similarly, the campaign at Hope Town conducted on 14th August was led by Shri Madhusudhan Ex Pradhan of GP Hope Town.
