Port Blair, Sept. 22: As part of the All India Campaign by the CPI (M) on “the Increasing Assaults of the BJP central government on people’s livelihood”, the Port Blair City Area Committee of the CPI (M) began a two-day corner meetings and campaign. The party conducted corner meetings today (22.09.2022) at Haddo, Delanipur, Prem Nagar and Junglighat areas.   

Speaking at these meetings, Shri D. Laxman Rao, State Secretariat Member of the Party criticized the central government for the spiralling prices of essential items and said that BJP’s promises of bringing down the prices made during the Parliament Elections in 2014 has turned out to be a hollow. He criticized the BJP government at the centre for not taking any steps for providing job to the youth in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Shri SP Kalairajan, State Organising Committee Member came down heavily on the BJP government and its Administration in the Islands for the increasing unemployment in the islands.

Shri NKP Nair, City Area Committee Member also addressed the meetings and explained in detail the anti-working class policies being pursued by the BJP government.
