Rangat, Sept. 25: The Rotary Club of Port Blair in coordination with A&N Islands Private Practicing Doctors Association conducted free eye & dental camp at Urmilapur, a remote village in Middle Andaman on 24th September, 2022.
Rtn B. Dinesh Kumar, President Rotary Club, Rtn Rajesh Anand Zonal Secretary, Rtn Rajendra Dixit, Treasurer in coordination with Smti. Lilly Roy, Pradhan, Urmilapur, Anil Bepari, Ex- Up Adyaskh, Zilla Parishad, Devan Rao ex Zilla Parishad Member who did a commendable job to inform villagers to get maximum benefit of the camp.
Rtn. Dr. Dinesh, Dental Surgeon did free check-up for 37 Dental related cases and Smti. Pragati, Optometrist did 68 eye check-ups (refractive error cases) apart from screening 6 cataract cases. Free medicines were also distributed during the camp. Rotary Club has announced that it will be distributing spectacles to the patients free of cost within a fortnight.
