Port Blair, Oct. 3: Along with the Nationwide, Andaman Nicobar Territorial Congress Committee observed the 153rd Birth Anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the Father of the Nation and 118th Birth Anniversary of Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Former Prime Minister of India on 02nd October 2022 in Gandhi Bhavan, Port Blair.
At the outset, Campaign Committee Chairman Shri. G. Bhasker and Ex-Mahila Congress President Smt. Shanta Laxman Singh garlanded the portrait of the leaders followed by floral tribute by all Senior Leaders, Mahila Congress, Frontal Organizations, PBMC Councilors, PRI Members and General public’s present in the function.
Bharat Ratna K. Kamaraj whose Death Anniversary falls on the same day was also being observed and remembered on this occasion.
Addressing the party workers, G. Bhasker recalled the services and sacrifices laid by the leaders for being the greatest souls of the Nation and also to remember their life of struggle and contribution towards the country.
