Katchal, Nov. 24: As part of his five day’s tour to Nancowry Group of Islands, Shri Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member-BJP held a series of meetings at Katchal Island on 22.11.2022 in MRN Tribal Village, E-Wall Tribal village, Sri-Lankan Settler community.
During the interaction, Shri. Arun 1st Captain, Shri. Shankar Samsung, Vice Chief Captain and Shri. Philip 1st Captain and Tribal community members were present. During the interaction, the villagers put forth their grievances in the meeting to which Jolly assured of all efforts to redress their grievances at appropriate level.
An interaction with Katchal Sri-Lankan Settler community was also held wherein Jolly enquired about the difficulties faced by them and they asked about the resettlement progress. Jolly assured and informed that the resettlement process is in final stage, it will be implemented as early as possible.
