Port Blair, Nov. 27: The Directorate of RD, PRIs& ULBs, A& N Administration, Marine Hill, Port Blair under Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA) of Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Govt. of India has invited applications/project proposals from Academic Institutions/ Civil Society Organizations (CSO) / NGOs (registered at NGO Darpan of NITI Aayog) to collaborate with the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat collaborating with Gram Panchayats of their choice to work in the selected GPs and coordinate the entire process of preparing development plans for economic development and social justice in collaboration with the respective GP as part of the People's Plan Campaign launched from 2nd  October, 2022 to 31st  January, 2023.

The   institution/organizations can collaborate with the Gram Panchayats to strengthen grass roots democracy, governance and improve accountability of Panchayats, PRIs and improve programme delivery and governance through mobilising community participation for the preparation of GPDP. The selected Institutions/Organizations will be sanctioned an amount of Rs.20,0007-  per Gram Panchayat.
