Port Blair, Jan 12: General public have been informed that elaborate traffic arrangements have been made for all Rehearsal days in connection with Republic Day Function starting from 12th Jan., 2023 onwards. As per the arrangement, the movement of all vehicular traffic shall be closed from R. K. Mission to Dharamshala Junction and from Scout Hut Junction to Girls School Crossing from 0700 Hrs onwards till dispersal of contingents on completion of the parade rehearsals.

The vehicles intending to proceed from South Point to Aberdeen Bazaar and vice versa may take the diversion from South Point --- Govt.  Press --- RK Mission --- RGT Road --- Murugan Temple towards Aberdeen Bazaar.  

The vehicles carrying parade contingents after dropping the contingents in front of Girls School shall proceed towards parking area by the side of Swimming Pool and will remain stationed there. After culmination of rehearsals they will come in front of Girls School via Netaji Stadium via Scout Hut junction and shall proceed to their respective places/units with the parade contingents.

During the rehearsals Parade shall follow the route Girls School – Marina Road – Dugong Junction – Children’s Traffic Park – Road inside Marina Park – Girls Sr. Sec. School.
