Port Blair, Feb 1: Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh (NSKS) affiliated with Andaman Nicobar Rajya Karmachari Mahasangh, BMS has represented before the authorities of PBMC and submitted various grievances for the well-being of the Sanitary Workers, who are keeping this City clean and tidy.
Since August 2021, the NSKS had initiated the issues of basic requirements for the working culture to all employees and preventive measures. Subsequently several correspondences were made but no action was seen on ground for redressing the issues.
It has been decided in the meeting held on 30.01.2023 that for the said demands, Nagarpalika Swachhtha Karmachari Sangh will stage a protest in the GATE of PBMC on 10th Feb. 2023 from 3 pm to 5 pm. Even after this if the demands are not sorted out, huge protest will be planned to press our genuine demands.
