Port Blair, Feb 2: A story telling workshop for children will be conducted by the Coastal Green Zone led by Shri Chanchal Singha Roy at Bageecha – an initiative of Andaman Chronicle to bring people closer to nature. The workshop will be held on Saturday, 4th February 2023 at 6.00 pm.
Chanchal Singha Roy is a National Awardee Teacher and the founder of ‘Coastal Green Zone’, a voluntary run initiative for conservation and protection of coastal ecosystems. He is also story teller and an abstract art worker.
The story telling session will be conducted at Bageecha, Libra Cottage, Brichgunj Chowk, Port Blair and is free of cost. The aim is to encourage children’s participation in creative things and encouraging them to understand their environment and ecology better, which is outside regular school syllabuses.
