Mayabunder, Feb. 3: In order to deliver the citizen centric services to the common man at their door steps, Dr. Satyendra Singh Dursawat, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman District conducted a Camp Court at Kadamtala Community Hall where large no of people gathered and voiced their grievances. The Deputy Commissioner took several on the spot decisions to resolve the grievances of citizens. He also directed the Tehsildar Rangat to dispose the grievances of the public as soon as possible. The representatives of line Departments were strictly directed to mitigate the grievances of the general public in time bound manner. 

The general public was made aware of the importance of greenery and environment and as a symbolic gesture a sapling was planted at Kadamtala village. Keeping in view of the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India under Swachh Bharat Mission, the Deputy Commissioner sensitized the general public about cleanliness and directed PRI members to conduct a cleanliness drive along with general public.

Thereafter, the Deputy Commissioner inspected offices of Fisheries, Veterinary, Anganwadi, Electricity etc and took note of public view on services provided by them. The Deputy Commissioner also visited MGNREGA sites and sites for upcoming infrastructure projects at Kadamtala and Bakultala villages.
