Port Blair, March 19: A case of theft of cash from Hari Mandir, Kadamtala was reported at PS Kadamtala on 18/03/2023 and the case has been worked out promptly by the efforts of police team of PS Kadamtala leading to the arrest of accused person and recovery of stolen cash within a short span.
On 18/03/2023 Shri. Sunil Mondal, President Hari Mandir Committee R/o Kadamtala reported at PS Kadamtala that on the intervening night of 17-18th March 2023 somebody entered the temple premises by breaking the lock of main door and stolen cash by breaking the donation box of the temple. Upon this an FIR was registered and a team was formed under the head of SHO Kadamtala. The team developed information from the local public and apprehended the accused and recovered the stolen cash Rs. 7308/- within two hours.
