Port Blair, April 28: Team consisting of 45 students from Andaman Nicobar Islands, currently on visit to NIT Jamshedpur, Jharkhand as part of the ‘Yuva Sangam phase-2 under ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat’ (EBSB) programme.

On day 4, a plantation and adoption drive was organized by NIT, Jamshedpur, Jharkhand wherein a student of Andaman was paired with a student of Jharkhand and they planted trees together. The students group accompanied by faculty members visited Kera Village and Gramosthan Resource Centre, Karanjo where they were given a tour of self- sustained development of Village women and students along with a glimpse into the organic farming.
