Port Blair, July 24: India Tourism, Port Blair, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India along with Andaman Association of Tour Operators and JNRM, Port Blair organised a Heritage walk today morning.
The walk started from the Historic Cellular Jail and Ended at Andaman Club, Opp Netaji Stadium. The walk was organised as a part of Visit of World Heritage Committee to New Delhi to attend the 46th Convention of World Heritage Committee. The programme was attended by Shri Ramakrishna, AD, India Tourism, Shri M. Vinod, President, AATO, Members of AATO and Students of BBA Tourism, JNRM, Port Blair.
Shri Vinod, briefed the students about the importance of our historical heritage sites and ask them to preserve our heritage. India’s Vision is to Development as well as heritage.
Vinod expressed his gratitude towards the officials of A&N Police Department for their support during the Heritage Walk.
