Billiground, July 24: In a proactive effort to educate and empower the youth, Police Station Billiground conducted a series of awareness programs focusing on Cyber Crime, Road Safety, and Drug Abuse. These programs were held at Government Middle Schools in Billiground, Shantipur, Shivapuram, and Padnabhapuram.

On 24/07/2024, the awareness sessions engaged students and faculty members from the schools. The officers from PS Billiground provided detailed insights and practical tips to help the students and faculty members stay safe online, practice safe driving habits, and understand the health risks and legal implications associated with drug use. The programs aimed to provide crucial information on safeguarding against cyber-crimes, understanding and adhering to road safety rules, and recognizing and avoiding the dangers of drug abuse.

The initiative was well-received, with active participation and positive feedback from both students and teachers. These sessions are part of North & Middle Andaman District Police ongoing commitment to promoting safety and well-being within the community.
