On 26th July, 2024, on the 25th anniversary of 'Kargil Vijay Diwas', I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the residents of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
This day is dedicated to paying tribute to the invaluable courage, bravery and supreme sacrifice of our brave soldiers in the Kargil War. The Indian Armed Forces displayed valour and bravery in this war through 'Operation Vijay' and achieved an important military victory over Pakistan. This is also an opportunity for us to take inspiration from brave soldiers and imbibe the spirit of 'Nation First' in our lives.
On this occasion, I call upon all the Islanders to pay tribute to the Indian Armed Forces by remembering their selfless service and supreme sacrifice.
