Port Blair, Aug 2: Jan Sunwai is scheduled to be held on Aug. 3, 2024 at 10 am in Panchayat Hall, Manglutan. The Director (Power), A&N Administration will chair the Jan Sunwai and also interact with local residents of Manglutan, South Andaman on power related issues. The Jan Sunwai provides a platform for community members to voice their concerns, provide feedback, and discuss issues of local importance. It is a vital step in ensuring transparency, accountability, and community involvement in decision making processes. Residents of Manglutan have been invited to come forward and actively participate in the discussion.

A presentation on consumer complaint handling mechanism and a live demo shall be given, so that consumers adopt the grievance handling system in registering their complaints for effective redressal.
