Port Blair, Aug 4: Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is conducting a Digital Based and Largest Science Talent Search Examination 2024-25 for popularizing science among school students studying in class VI to XI standard. It is an initiative of Vigyan Bharti in collaboration with National Council of Science Museum, Kolkata (NCSM) and NCERT, Ministry of Education, GoI. This talent search examination will be held on 23rd October, 2024 or 27th October, 2024 in 12 major regional Indian languages. As part of the event, Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, a unit of Port Blair in association with Science Centre organized an Open House Quiz Competition on the topic “Importance of National Space Day” for the registered students of different schools in & around Port Blair today. Based on the competition, Carmel Sr. Sec. School, Port Blair was adjudged first position whereas Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Pathergudda & St. Mary’s Sr. Sec. School, Bathubasthi were adjudged second & third positions respectively.

Around 50 students of different schools alongwith their parents participated in the programme. The winners of above event shall be awarded during the felicitation ceremony of students who participated in the National Level Camp (NLC) 2023-24 to be organized on 24th August, 2024.
