Port Blair, Aug 12: CPI (M) has carried out Ward Visit to Ward No. 2 of the Port Blair Municipal Council on 11th August, 2024 with a view to interact with the general public and to know the issues and problems of the people. A group of CPI (M) leaders led D. Ayyappan, State Secretary visited various parts of Ward No.2 of Port Blair Municipal area and met a number of people.
People brought to the notice of the CPI (M) leaders the issues of scarcity of drinking water, delay in collection of garbage piled up on the road sides and footpaths, broken footpaths and sewages, non-functioning of street lights, etc. People are found blaming the BJP government at the centre and its Administration in the islands for the intermittent power cut, rising unemployment and price rise.
