Port Blair, Aug 31: Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi, a prominent NGO dedicated to child welfare, successfully conducted its second awareness camp focused on child sexual abuse for teachers. Held on 31st August 2024 at the auditorium of Girls Senior Secondary School, the camp featured a comprehensive session led by Dr. Bhairghav S, a senior psychiatrist from Apollo Hospital, Chennai.
The initiative underscores Port Blair Guru Ki Rasoi’s ongoing commitment to equipping educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to identify, prevent, and address child sexual abuse. Dr. Bhairghav S brought valuable insights and strategies to the forefront, enhancing participants' understanding of the complexities surrounding this critical issue.
This workshop provided teachers with practical tools and approaches to create safer educational environments and support. The session included interactive discussions, case studies, and preventive measures aimed at fostering a proactive stance against abuse.
