Mayabunder, Oct. 22: The District Administration of North & Middle Andaman successfully carried out an encroachment eviction drive today at Pinakinagar village, under the jurisdiction of Mayabunder Tehsil. The operation was executed in the presence of the Revenue Inspector and police personnel, ensuring smooth execution and the maintenance of law and order. As part of the drive, two unauthorized temporary structures were removed from Government land identified under Survey No. 256/1. This action resulted in the restoration of approximately 5000 square meters of Government land to its original state.

This eviction is part of the Administration's ongoing efforts to curb fresh encroachments and safeguard public land from unauthorized occupation. The District Administration remains committed to transparency and strict enforcement of legal provisions to protect public resources.

Residents have been once again reminded to avoid encroaching on Government land and have been urged to cooperate with the authorities. The Administration also encourages prompt reporting of any new or ongoing encroachment activities for swift action.
