Sri Vijaya Puram, Oct. 24: In a concerted effort to reclaim encroached government land, an eviction drive was carried out at Prothrapur revenue village. The operation, part of ongoing efforts to clear unauthorized occupations, resulted in the successful restoration of approximately 350 square meters of government land to the Revenue Department.

The land in question, identified as part of the government revenue land, had been encroached upon with unauthorized fencing and a katcha structure. Acting upon the directions from the Revenue authorities, the eviction team dismantled the illegal structures, clearing the area and restoring it to government control.

The eviction was carried out in compliance with the provisions of the law, following due legal processes. It reflects the commitment of the District Administration to safeguard public land and ensure that unauthorized constructions are systematically removed. The recovered land will now be placed under the jurisdiction of the Revenue Department for appropriate usage in line with governmental policies.

The District Administration continues to urge citizens to refrain from encroaching upon government land and to cooperate in maintaining the integrity of public property. Such measures are vital to preserving government assets for public welfare and ensuring sustainable development in the region.
