Hut Bay, Oct. 28: Shri Vinayak Chamadia, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, South Andaman conducted an official visit to Little Andaman today. The primary purpose was to administer the oath of allegiance to Smti Seuli Mandal, the newly elected Pradhan of Ramkrishna Pur village under Little Andaman Tehsil, marking her formal induction into office.

During his visit, Shri Vinayak Chamadia, held several sessions to address ongoing cases, including the resolution of 29 cases under Unnatural Death. The hearings also addressed senior citizen welfare concerns, bringing both respondents and appellants before the tribunal to facilitate fair and timely decisions. Additional cases reviewed by the Sub-Divisional Officer, included the First Revenue Appeal, issues of illegal land occupation, and other disputes among registered tenants.

Additionally, he visited the residence of both the petitioners who had filed a complaint under Senior Citizen Act, 2007, thereof listened to the concerns firsthand and provided proactive solutions to ensure the complainant's well-being and concluded the case with providing solutions.

He also visited the Primary Health Centre at R.K. Pur, where he interacted with the Medical Officer to discuss the Center's management and operational challenges.
