Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 11: The State Bank of India Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI), Sri Vijaya Puram has successfully completed the 6 days General EDP Programme with 31 women trainees from Directorate of Industries. The programme which commenced on Nov.4 culminated today. The programme was presided over by Shri Ajit Anand, Deputy Director of Industries, in the presence of Shri Rathinder Nath, IPO, Directorate of Industries, Shri Ummar Farooq, UTLBC, Chief Manager and Shri C Raj, Director, SBI-RSETI.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ajit Anand appreciated the quality of training imparted by SBI-RSETI to the trainees and advised them to set up their own business for which all support will be extended by the Deptts. and Banks while Shri Ummar Farooq highlighted the importance of self-employment and how to become a successful entrepreneur. He also urged the trainees intending to start a small unit to register under PM Vishwakarma Yojana and avail the benefits of easy credit and also low interest.
Some of the trainees also shared their experience during the six days programmes which not only improved their self-confidence but also would help them in setting up their entrepreneurship career.
