Sri Vijaya Puram, Nov. 27: A Block Level Training Program was conducted at Rangat, bringing together local leaders, health professionals, and community representatives to address key health concerns and foster a healthier society. In his welcome address, Block Development Officer, Shri Pradeep Kumar Singh emphasized the importance of community engagement in health initiatives, highlighting the significant role of Gram Panchayats in promoting public health awareness and action.
The program’s highlight was an enlightening presentation by Smti. Abiny Jacob, CHO, CHC Rangat, who delivered an in-depth session on communicable and non-communicable diseases, including oral and dental health. Participants were sensitized about the proactive roles that local leaders and community stakeholders can play in fostering a healthier environment. The training aimed to empower Pradhans, Anganwadi workers, and other community leaders with knowledge and resources to tackle health challenges effectively within their jurisdictions.
During the program, the Pradhan’s shared their experiences and discussed innovative approaches to addressing health concerns at the grassroots level. Anganwadi workers highlighted both challenges and successes in promoting health awareness and preventing diseases in their respective communities.
