Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 5: The ITF concluded on a vibrant and jubilant note. Being the festival’s final day, the main venue at ITF Pavilion attracted a massive crowd. The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, IAS, today visited the ITF and witnessed the colorful cultural programme presented by the artistes of different cultural organizations. He also gave away prizes to the best stall in the Govt. Sector. Accordingly, Sri Vijaya Puram Municipal Council Stall prepared on the theme ‘Waste to Wealth’ bagged the first prize. The Secretary, SVPMC, Shri Azharuddin Zahiruddin Quazi, IAS, received the award. Similarly, the Stall of Nicobar District got the second prize, showcasing tribal life while the third prize was bagged by North & Middle Andaman District, depicting the lime stone cave and other projects of the District. The Department of Environment & Forests got the fourth prize for depicting the model of Chatham Saw Mill and other artifacts made of wood.
The spirit of celebration echoed throughout the evening as a seamless lineup of programs unfolded, offering a glimpse into the rich cultural tapestry of 'Mini India'. From soulful, slow-beat melodies to electrifying, high-energy performances, the stage came alive with dazzling dancers adorned in vibrant costumes, presenting a variety of dance styles from across the country.
The ITF closed its curtains as a true celebration of culture, tradition and joy, leaving behind a trail of unforgettable memories.
