Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 24: Shri B. Kasiviswanathan, IRSME, Chairperson, Cochin Port Authority & concurrently Chief Engineer and Administrator of Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works, along with Shri Animesh Bharti, IES, Senior Economic Advisor, Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways during their visit to A&N Islands called on Admiral D K Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands and Vice-Chairman, Islands Development Agency today at Raj Niwas.

Hon’ble Lt. Governor desired for swift completion of various projects under shipping sector and infrastructure projects under Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works (ALHW) and urged the need to expedite the operationalization of Water Aerodromes to enable the commencement of Sea-Plane operations in A&N Islands. Additionally, deliberated on the potential of Shipping & Port Sectors contributing to attainment of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’.
