Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 28: Beating the Retreat Ceremony, marking the culmination of four-day long Republic Day celebrations will be held at Netaji Stadium tomorrow (Jan.29) at 4.55 pm.  To mark the occasion, there will be combined performance by Army, Navy and Police Band. This will be followed by lowering of the National Flag at sunset. School children will present cultural programmme befitting the occasion.

The Naval Ships will fire Vary’s Pistol and all ships at anchorage will be illuminated along with lighting of the area around Netaji Stadium/Marina Park.

Meanwhile, elaborate traffic arrangements have been made for Beating the Retreat celebrations on 29th January, 2025.
