Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan 28: The Hindu Rashtra Shakti (HRS) has raised serious objections to the illegal activities mushrooming in the Islands in the name of SPA Centres.

In a letter to the Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, the HRS State President, Shri Rakeshwar Lall invited the attention of the LG on a serious concern regarding illegal activities taking place at various SPA centers in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. These SPA centers, which offer massage and wellness services, are allegedly involved in illicit activities that are contrary to the law, said Lall.

He pointed out about the Unlicensed and Unqualified Therapists in the centres, Unhygienic and Unsafe Conditions, Other Illegal Services, Non Registration of GST, Verification of residential address of the employees among others and requested for immediate action through the concerned department to investigate these allegations and take necessary steps to shut down the SPA centers if found guilty in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
