Sri Vijaya Puram, Jan. 31: In a bid to ensure strict adherence to the provisions of the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the Workplace (POSH) Act, an essential awareness programme will be held for representatives of private sector companies employing more than 10 staff members. This initiative aims to promote awareness and understanding of the legal framework for creating a safe and respectful work environment.

The awareness session will take place on Feb.4, 2025 from 10 am onwards in the Conference Hall of Tagore Govt. College of Education, Sri Vijaya Puram. The programme is organized to engage employers and employees alike in understanding their rights and responsibilities under the POSH Act. Attendees will gain insight into creating a secure workplace free from sexual harassment, handling complaints, and maintaining compliance with all required legal protocols.
