Sri Vijaya Puram, March 3: The 38th Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will be held on Wednesday, 05th March, 2025 at 11.00 AM. The main function will be held at IGNOU, HQ, New Delhi. The Hon’ble Minister of Education, Govt. of India, Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, will be the Chief Guest at HQ, New Delhi and deliver the Convocation Address.

At Regional Centre Port Blair, Dr. Chandra Bhusahan Kumar, IAS, Chief Secretary, Andaman & Nicobar Administration is the Guest of Honour (GoH) for the Convocation Function and will address the graduating students and distribute the Degrees and Diplomas. Special address will be given by Shri. P.K. Paul, IFS, Conservator of Forests (Wild Life), Department of Environment and Forest, Andaman & Nicobar Administration. At Regional Centre, Port Blair 951 students are eligible to receive various degrees at the convocation function. 

The students who have paid the convocation fee through online mode, collected their scarf and confirmed their participation to the Convocation are advised to be present at 10.00 AM at the convocation venue at IGNOU Regional Centre, Opposite to Air Cargo Complex, VIP Road, Sri Vijaya Puram.
