Port Blair, June 13: With the objective of developing Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Technology at par with reputed institutes in the mainland, the A&N Administration has entered into an MoU with the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai for guiding the institution in curriculam development, training of faculties, lab upgradation, internship for students.
 
In this connection, three professors from the IIT Mumbai recently visited the institute and had an interaction with the staff and students. The visiting members also took a stock of the equipments, software etc. used for teaching-learning process and the process followed for delivery system. 
 
The professors were happy with the infrastructure and the process followed. The team also met the Chief Secretary and Secretary (Edn.) and shared their basic plan to fill the gap. It was assured that one professor per semester will make a short visit to interact with the students and the faculty.
