Port Blair, May 6: The Department of Fisheries, A&N Administration invites applications from Individuals/Self Help Groups (SHGs)/Joint Liability Groups (JLG)/Fisheries/Tribal Coop. Societies/Federation from A&N Islands for establishment of modern fish retail outlet under the RKVY programme, Financial assistance for establishment of Modern Fish Retail Outlet during 2011-12. 

 

The programme envisages providing 50% of the total cost subject to a maximum of Rs. 1.00 lakh for the various items as per the approved guidelines of the programme for setting up of Modern Fish Retail Outlet. The assistance will be available only for new fish retail outlets. The applicant should either be the owner of the land on which the Modern Fish Retail Outlet is proposed to be established or should hold lease for atleast 05 years for establishing the Modern Fish Retail Outlet. 

 

Application form and detailed terms and conditions of the programme can be obtained from the Directorate of Fisheries/all Fisheries Zonal Offices/Fisheries Sub- Offices/Zilla Parishads/Panchayat Samitis and the applications in complete shape with all the required documents may be submitted to the concerned Fisheries Zonal Offices/Fisheries Sub-Offices/Zilla Parishads/Panchayat Samitis. The application form can also be downloaded from the A&N Administration’s website, www.and.nic.in. The filled-in application alongwith required documents should reach the concerned offices on or before 15.06.2011.
