Mariyam Bibi, ex-Adhyaksha Zilla Parishad South Andaman met Shri Navlendra Kumar Singh, Director Transport recently and requested to re-start the bus service from Bambooflat to Rangat. After the pandemic, residents of Ferrargunj Tehsil are forced travel to Port Blair through ferry for covid test done and then catch the bus from Mohanpura bus terminus.

Port Blair, Dec. 20: In its bid to improve and provide citizen centric services at the doorsteps of islanders, an E-corner was inaugurated by Shri Suneel Anchipaka, IAS, Deputy Commissioner (SA), in the presence of Shri Hari Kallilkkat, IAS, SDM, Shri Lakshay Singhal, IAS (P) and other officers of the District Administration and villagers. The setting up of E-corner at Swarajdweep will ease in approaching govt. services and expedite the entire process and thereby reducing the human made delays.

Port Blair, Dec. 18: The Sikh residents of Andaman & Nicobar Islands have shown their solidarity to the Farmers sitting in the capital.

In a very peaceful protest following all Covid 19 norms a small gathering of Sikh people led by Shri Mandeep Grewal and Shri Gurmeet Singh sat in front of the National Memorial Cellular Jail to show their never ending support for the farmer brothers.

General Public Demand Easing Out Rules for Public Convenience

There are rules framed by the A&N Administration for passengers arriving at the airport or travelling to inter-islands, which also has been effective in controlling the pandemic spread.

The newly drawn schedules  are as follows:-
